Meet Crystal Brown – Wife, Mother, and Minister

Crystal Brown, married to world-renowned musician and record producer Jonathan Brown, is a resident of White House, TN. The couple has been happily married and involved in ministry for 27 years, and are proud parents of three lovely children aged 26, 17, and 16. Crystal is currently pursuing her doctrine in Christian Education and Temperament Therapy, while simultaneously authoring her first book, “I am not your Enemy”, scheduled to be released in Spring 2025.

Crystal’s upbringing in an alcoholic home allowed her to understand God in a unique way, which has greatly influenced her ministry philosophy. Her childhood experiences of toxic shame, rejection, and abandonment fostered a deep sense of low self-worth and insecurity. Over time, these insecurities caused her to view women through distorted lenses of shame and guilt, leading her to feel as though they were her enemy. Through the Holy Spirit’s power, Crystal has embarked on a healing journey and is passionate about sharing it with other women to help heal female relationships within the church. Her belief is that when women work together and see each other as a beautiful gift that God has created, instead of enemies, Hell will not stand a chance.

Crystal’s ministry work is centered around the idea of creating a safe space for women to come together and support each other. She believes that by empowering women to see each other as sisters in Christ, they can build meaningful relationships that can help them navigate the challenges of life. Through her own experiences, Crystal has come to understand the power of vulnerability and the importance of being open and honest with each other. Her greatest passion in ministry is empowering women to come together and build meaningful relationship’s.

Crystal also believes that women have a unique role to play in the church and that by working together, they can make a significant impact on their communities. She is passionate about creating opportunities for women to serve and lead within their churches, and encourages them to use their gifts and talents to make a difference.

When she’s not busy with ministry work or writing her book, Crystal enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is an avid reader and loves to explore new places and cultures. Her favorite thing to do, however, is to spend time in prayer and meditation, seeking God’s guidance and direction for her life and ministry.
